The wraith cooler works but it is not great at keeping the Ryzen 6 very cool - which is in turn causing the case fans to run at higher RPMs. Does that mean that the cpu cooler fan will ramp up/down to match the 500-1000 rpm based on the temp when it is between 20 and 40 C? I want to get the fan curves stabilized and working before I decide if I need to get better fans. So if I have 20 C for say 500 RPM and another at 40C for 1000 rpm. I have MSI tomahawk b450 max and it has 4 x 4-pin system fan connectors and 2 x 5050 RGB LED strip 12V connectors. The 3 other fans are not PWN so I have to control them via temp versus volt. Basically, I want to add RGB fans to my pc. The CPU cooler is a PWM so I can do temp versus RPM. I am using the MSI b450 Tomahawk Max motherboard and I have looked at the fan controls there but they really aren't making sense to me.Īre there any good videos describing fan curve setups? THey are ramping up/down alot even under not very heavy loads. I have a lot of noise from the fans in my case.
